This week ovulating women around the world are vying for the chance to have their baby on a symbolic and perhaps lucky day that happens only once in a lifetime: November 11, 2011 (a.k.a. 11-11-11)

In order to have a baby with a November 11th due date, couples would realistically have to conceive on or around February 18th.  So, don’t let the love fade just because Valentine’s Day is over. This week is prime time for baby making!

Numerology

The primary energy of 11:11:11 is about leadership, new beginnings, fresh starts, pioneering, self-awareness, and consciousness in leading your own life. The 1 + 1 energy of eleven is the number of connection—if you know that 1 + 1 equals two, but it doesn’t feel right, it’s a sign that you’ve overlooked some details and your intuition is talking to you to help you connect the dots.

The 11-11 energy invites time for reflection, to be accountable for your actions and how you are living your life from an evolved perspective.

On the flip side, some believe that when the 11-11 power is not fully expressed, it can evoke feelings of instability, paranoia, fear of change and self-sabotage. It’s a powerful number that can offer clarity or delusion, depending on how you relate to it.

Singularity

Most predictions and opinions concerning 11-11-11 are rooted in its mathematical uniqueness as a number. There are three possible outcomes for events falling in the same space and time

1. Something good happens— There is no scientific basis for this belief, yet the belief that something good will happen is based solely on spiritualism, faith, and/or innate optimism.

2. Nothing happens—  Just because an unusual date number sequence occurs doesn’t mean that something extraordinary will happen.

3. Something bad happens— There is no scientific basis for this belief, yet the belief that something bad will happen is based solely on pessimism of reality.

Veterans Day

World War I officially ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919, in France.

However, fighting ceased seven months earlier when an armistice (temporary cessation of hostilities) between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.

For that reason, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.”

Who knows if Veterans Day (formerly known as Armistice Day) will be remembered/observed/celebrated any differently on November 11, 2011?

Remember, between picking your ovulation day, and getting the delivery date correct, having a baby on 11/11/11 is no easy feat. So, be sure you are ready to bring a little one into this world before you go throwing caution (or sperm) to the wind because your baby may have its own ideas about when the right time is to make his grand entrance.

I am willing to bet one thing’s for certain. After reading this article, you will start noticing 11.11.11 everywhere you look, if you didn’t already.

Since there’s no way to predict an actual natural birth date, moms-to-be will just have to plead with their OB’s to induce their babies on 11/11/11 !

Thanks for posting this, I wrote about 11:11 recently because it follows me around all the time. There are a lot of people who notice this besides myself and lately I am noticing 22:22 a lot as well. Great post and very informative.

  3. While I’m into numerology to an extent, I think that way too much is being read into the 111 phenomenon. The reason that people take note of repetitive numbers in sequence has everything to do with the brain’s wiring. Special messages? Phooey.

  4. @Marcia – We note repetitive and/or numbers in a particular and easily-remembered pattern or sequence due to the brain’s wiring. That is why you are noticing 111. Brain biology.

I am trying to conceive, by chance my last period was 2/4 making my ovulation date the 18th. I was in no way trying for this but I did realize that my due date would be 11/11/11 if I got pregnant this month. (Can’t test yet). Is there any real significance to having a baby born on this date?

I guess no one really knows for sure, but those who believe in the power of the number feel that is represents enlightenment, self awareness, and positive energy.
