I like to think I have a sense of humor and it usually takes a lot to offend me. But, I have to say that last night’s Super Bowl ad by HomeAway.com was a desperate attempt to be outrageous and get noticed. I am talking about when they simulated throwing a baby at a glass window.
I hate to give this “Ministry of Detourism” spot any more press than it deserves, so I will stop now.
Bottom line, there’s really nothing funny about abusing a baby – test dummy or not. Poor ad choice. Poor taste.
